What Does 'Documentary Photography' Really Mean?
Welcome to my documentary photography portfolio! Here, I’m dedicated to capturing life as it unfolds—raw, real, and unscripted. With a 'fly on the wall' approach, I focus on documenting your story without interruption. Unlike traditional photography, there’s no posing or directing; instead, I aim to reveal genuine emotions and experiences as they naturally occur.
At its core, documentary photography is about authenticity. It celebrates the beauty of everyday moments, preserving the true, unscripted instances that reflect who you really are. If you’re seeking real, candid storytelling, you’ve come to the right place.
A Sneak Peek at My Author's Note
"This book is a visual narrative that captures the essence of Bonneville Meats through a photographic lens. My father-in-law, Bo McDonald, is the proud owner of Bonneville Meats. I have always been curious about the processes that occur behind the scenes after meat is delivered to companies and before it is served in restaurants. As a photographer deeply fascinated by the seemingly mundane parts of life, I spent time documenting the day-to-day operations, the hardworking individuals, and the unexpected findings within Bonneville Meats.
Through this documentary photograph book, I aim to provide a candid and unfiltered look at the world behind the scenes at Bonneville Meats, capturing moments that are often unseen by the outside world. This book is a tribute to the people and processes that form the backbone of this industry, and I hope it offers you a deeper appreciation of the hard work and commitment involved."

"Celebrating the Mundane of Graduation"
In this documentary project, I explored the layers of a graduation day that extend beyond the traditional celebration. While the ceremony is often the focal point, my focus was on capturing the everyday moments that make this milestone truly meaningful. From the quiet preparations and candid interactions to the joy found in simple gestures, my photographs weave a narrative of accomplishment and reveal the subtle beauty in the ordinary. By highlighting both the festive elements and the seemingly insignificant details of the day, I aim to show that graduation is not merely an ending but a profound new beginning filled with possibilities.
